Alex Burtzos

Alex Burtzos, (b. 1985) is a native of Colorado Springs, CO. Musical from an early age, he performedlocally as a brass player, vocalist and percussionist before moving to New Orleans in 2004 to attend Loyola University. As an undergraduate, he studied composition with Dr. James Paton Walsh, theory and orchestration with Dr. William Horne, counterpoint with Dr. James Mackay, conducting with Dr. Joseph Hebert, and form and analysis with Dr. Janna Saslaw.

Antonio Carlos Neves Campos

Antonio Carlos Neves Campos was born in Tatui, Sâo Paulo, Brazil.  His musical education began at the age of five and continued on to the Conservatory of Tatui, where he majored in piano in 1964.
In 1966, he won the Regional Competition of Piano in Massena New York USA. and attended the State University of New York at Potsdam and where he studied with Arthur Frackenpohl and Raymond Schinner at the Crane School of Music. Since 1984 he has been the well respected, Director of the Conservatory of Tatui, where he was teaching for several years.

Charles Fernandez began composing for television and film in 1989.  He has composed for television series such as Disney's Little Mermaid; Disney's Aladdin; Universal's Casper Cartoon Series (For which he received two Emmy and one Annie Nomination); Disney's Doug; Disney's 101 Dalmations; Dreamworks' Toonsylvania and Disney's Bonkers .

Dante Medina

Dante Medina - Pianist, composer. Born in Argentina, Dante Medina began his piano studies at an early age.  A graduate or the University of Córdoba, he later earned a master’s degree at Indiana University after receiving a Fulbright Scholarship. Among his teachers were Abbey Simon and Gyorgy Sebok.

Eddie Jennings

Eddie Jennings received his Bachelor of Arts in Music in 1981 from Jacksonville State University (in Jacksonville, Alabama USA). At JSU, he studied applied saxophone with Dr. Ronald Attinger. Dr. Attinger instilled in him the beauty to be found in classical saxophone performance. At JSU he became an avid arranger for saxophone ensembles, from trios up to large saxophone choirs. He arranged much of the music performed by the university saxophone choir while at JSU.

Edmundo Villani-Côrtes

Edmundo Villani-Côrtes was born in Juiz De Fora (Minas Gescis, Brasil) on 08/11/1930.  His first introduction to music was through his father who played flute and his mother who played piano. As a young twelve year old boy, he played a small guitar, and guitar all from intuition.  At seventeen he started his theoretical music studies, including the piano at the Conservatôrio Brasileiro de Mûsica in Rio de Janeiro, and completed them in 1954.  By then he had already composed many compositions including a piano concerto, which he first performed with the Juiz de Fora Philharmonic Orchestra" directed by Maestro Max Gefter (1956).

Edson Beltrami

Edson Beltrami, born São Paulo, has received his early musical studies first with his father and after at the Conservatório de Tatuí with João Dias Carrasqueira, at the Flute course. He started  playing with the Symphonic Orchestra of Tatuí at 1975, and since 1977 has been awarded several 1st prizes in Flute competitions.

Eskender Bekmambetov

Eskender Bekmambetov, is principal violin of the Kremlin Chamber Orchestra. Eskender began his musical studies at age 6 on the piano, in the Uzbek Republic of then Soviet Union (now -- Uzbekistan), and continued with his studies, on the violin, in Moscow. His favorite composers range from Bach to Shostakovich, and his non-classical musical interest are jazz and ethnic music.

Hudson Nogueira

Hudson Nogueira, was Born in Itapetininga in rural São Paulo State, Brazil. He grew up in the small city of Porangaba which is also located in rural São Paulo. At an early age, he began his studies and graduated from the Escola Superior de Música Mazarteum in São Paulo in 1997 with a Bachelors degree in clarinet performance. In 1995, he began his career as a composer with his first pieces written for chamber ensembles.

João Victor Bota

João Victor Bota was born in Brazil 1981. He began his musical studies in 1992 and debuted as a composer and orchestrator one year later. Mr Bota has been acclaimed by his peers as a great and promising talent. Mr Bota studied piano at, Carlos Gomes Musical Conservatorie of Campinas in 2000 and graduated with distinction, as an outstanding chamber pianist.

Jonny Alexander Pasos

Jonny Alexander Pasos was born in Medellín-Colombia in 1975.  He recieved his bachelors degree in clarinet performance from Universidad de Antioquia in 2002 and his specialist degree in Music Composition in 2006.
In 2006, the Medellín Saxophone Quartet was awarded a creation fellowship from Alcaldia de Medellín to perform 10 of his compositions for saxophone quartet. Each piece was written in a different traditional Colombian rhythm and Bambusax as part of this set of compositions, represented the Bambuco rhythm.

Kelly Bennette

Kelly Bennette was born in Port Arthur, Texas, and grew up in the neighboring city of Groves.  He attended Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas, and was awarded a Bachelor of Arts in music education in 1989.  For many years he was the tubist for the Lamar Faculty Brass Quintet as well as the Beaumont Symphony Orchestra.

Lucidio Quintero Simanca

Lucidio Quintero Simanca, was born on July 15th 1961 in Maracaibo, Venezuela. He started his musical training at the early age of 10 under his father’s supervision, who instructed him in the basics of clarinet, musical theory and solfege. In 1972 he joined the band of Cuartel de Bomberos in Maracaibo as a clarinet player under the instruction of Gregorio Garrido and Elías Núñez. He started formal clarinet and musical language studies at the Conservatorio José Luis Paz in 1975 under the instruction of Félix Mozo Núñez and Giuseppe Terencio. He would alternate his studies at the conservatory with orchestral practice with the Youth Symphonic Orchestras Program in Zulia, Venezuela. In 1977 he auditioned for a position in the Simón Bolívar concert band where he became concert master. He starts piano and harmony studies with Renzo Salvetti who works with him over 10 years until he concludes his studies in Musical Composition.

Nestor Horacio Alderete (1965) born in Cordoba, Argentina studied guitar with Francisco Barroso and Pablo De Giusto and composition with Nicholas Alessio and, in the National University of Cordoba, Cesar Franchisena and Vicente Moncho, among others.

Robert Farias

Robert Farias conductor and composer, was born in Cubatão, São Paulo Brazil. He began his musical studies at age seven and by eleven years old he was already producing arrangements for band. With links to the musical initiatives of Cubatão, he created in 1970 the Afonso Schmidt Musical Band. (the current Cubatão Symphonic Band).
Mr Farias graduated from the Santos College of Music where he later assumed the chairs of Instrumental Literature, Musical Appreciation and Superior Instrument.

Rodrigo Vitta

Rodrigo Vitta, was born in Sao Paulo - Brazil. It did master's degree in Semiotics in the PUC and graduate in Composition for the FAAM. It already conducted the Philharmonic Orchestra of Montevideo, Brazilian Orchestra of Blows, Symphonic Band of Ribeirão Pires, Symphonic Band of Cubatão, Philharmonic Orchestra Metropolitana, Orchestra LyricSur and Camerata Vitta.
